The Affaire in the Gardens Art Show draws over 200 artists and exhibitors to the venue from across the United States during each season. The event is usually held in May and October each year, at the Beverly Gardens Park. Beside the beautiful and intriguing art displays, visitors will find several live entertainment acts and refreshment stands.

The Beverly Gardens Park stretches along an avenue and this avenue is lit up with a party atmosphere during the art show. Musical entertainment and a wide variety of alfresco dining options are common during the Affaire in the Gardens Art Show. Taking up four blocks of the well-known Santa Monica Boulevard, the show takes on a lively and inviting ambiance everyday. A children's art and craft booth gives families a way to keep children entertained while they take in the carnival atmosphere of the art show. Most of the art work on display during the Affaire in the Gardens Art Show can be purchased directly from the exhibitors.

A special wining and dining section is also available adjacent to the art show grounds. Produced by a joint venture between Premier Events & Catering and the City of Beverly Hills, the Wine Garden on Canon and Santa Monica is well worth a visit. Here, you'll find some of the best California wines available by the glass, as well as a great array for wine tasting. The wine is duly complemented by a generous selection of light entrees, including cheese platters, stews and wraps.

In 2008, the Spring art show was held during the third weekend of May. The next Affaire in the Gardens Art Show (Fall season) is scheduled to be held during 18th and 19th of October, between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.

If you visit the event from out of town, you would enjoy staying at a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills [http://www.raffles.com/EN_RA/Property/RLE], and you can combine the art show experience with a lot of different activities for a good weekend or vacation.
